RED ALERT From Tribal Areas, Pakistan

Dear John E. Carey

I have been writing this letter to you in great depression as the government of Pakistan all of sudden has given the control of Bajaur Agency into the hands of Taliban.

Now Taliban armed with heavy weapons have been patrolling the roads along with the Pakistani forces. There is great fear and terror in the areas. People have been running for their lives.

Though I have been living with my tribes, but still I have been in great terror and fear. There is a real possibility that Taliban may attack us anytime. I along with my family are in danger.

There are reports that US forces have been establishing base along the border. A clash has taken place in which according to reports, several people were killed. It is not clear who were the dead.

Please Sir, convey a message to the US administration to take steps for saving people of Bajaur Agency, tribal areas from Taliban. The matter is very urgent as Pakistan has allowed Taliban to attack US forces along the border. Situation is very uncertain. Your goodself can save us from destruction.

Please Sir, do something. I shall keep contact with you and shall inform you about the latest development. We are in great danger and trouble. At the moment I am even unable to write a proper letter to you as I am in great depression.

Please consider this as SOS from my side and people of Bajaur Agency.
