I agree, I have demons in my head that rage huge wars . First they begin inwardly when I need to fight my own desire to have have have then they start being verbal as I need to fight the childrens ‘need’to have. Sometimes I feel as if I am two entities, the free love hippie and the prestigious wealthy never enough.
I am sure that I would sell out my values as to what matters in life if I was ever offered the big money and that makes me mad. What I want in my inner core is enough to own ‘my’things the car, the home and to live debt free. Not to succomb to advertising and begging of how would they feel if they didn’t have that like their friends.
I hate it when I feel the two demons begin to rise in my head, literally I can feel them and I get a knot in my stomach.
I am crazy

Great post! Yes, they seem to have a positive outlook on life no matter what the situation. I have Thai friends who are the same way, very positive. To put matters in perspective, the Republic of Korea’s Chun Doo-hwan and Roe Tae-woo received Draconian sentences for crimes far less serious than Lee’s. Chun and Roe’s crimes were purely economic. Lee Teng-hui’s crimes involved not merely graft, but high treason. The question is not whether Lee is guilty of these deeds. Lee freely admits having committed them. The question is will he ever be brought to justice for having committed them.

Even the “energetically” interventionist Washington Post, Taiwan independence fellow traveler and no friend of Beijing, saw no way around the obvious:

Second, Taiwan’s liberty and prosperity are under threat, not from Beijing, but from an autocratic, doctrinaire and incompetent Taiwan independence nomenklatura in Taipei.

I promise the global community to completely bankrupt and incarcerate the Taiwan Government/Mafia promoters of Satanic Sex Games for their crimes and their association with the 500 million people who have died since 1936 due to their “arranged accidents”. The World’s maritime and shipping industry together with the IT industry and power industries can throttle this Mafia of Taiwan until there isn’t a single molecule of air left for them to remain in existence. They are the worst and most immoral species that exists on planet Earth. Even the dogs and the cats hate them.
