Few men can look themselves in the mirror and say, “I really blew it this time. I was completely wrong.”
But that is exactly what U.S. President Barack Obama must do if he is to keep his legacy from being destroyed by his narcissistic inability to face the facts.
But President Obama may just be destined to be labeled “the wrong narrative president.”
Maybe he can’t help himself.
Radical Islamist Terrorists are scripting the movie for President Obama’s last year in the White House.
And he’s not.

He can’t seem to call “them” anything but “Isil” which sounds like weasel without the “W.”
“They” are Radical Islamist Terrorists. They are not on the run. They are not “contained.” They are not the “JV.” They may not be an existential threat to the United States of America, as President Obama indicated during his State of the Union speech last week.
But Radical Islamist Terrorists have already become an existential threat to world peace, prosperity and peace of mind. And millions have already died because of them. The fight is no longer existential to the dead. We’re past that.
This fight is now perhaps destined to become the White House narrative gone wrong. An existential threat to Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, their reputations and the reputations of the many people who have supported them in their misinterpretation of the obvious — and retransmitted classified government documents using a totally unprotected email system…
Maybe the “JV team” didn’t kill all those county workers at a Christmas party in San Bernardino. But certainly sloppy thinking and even sloppier bureaucratic ineptitude did allow Tashfeen Malik and her husband Syed Farook to dance through a cursory background check by the U.S. Government, get armed to the teeth, and enter into a building that housed government offices and social services.
There is more than a smidgen of something amiss here.
They came with the sole purpose of killing Americans. Christian Americans, Jewish Americans, Asian Americans.
These Islamic terrorists often use “racial profiling” — even though we do not.
And the emails of Tashfeen Malik and her husband Syed Farook were probably encrypted. Every terrorist’s are.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton apparently chose not to use encryption.
It is as if two young Islamists outsmarted President Obama and all the government, police, and intelligence folks from the NSA, CIA, DIA, FBI and more.
Two Islamic kids basically took the lives of dozens of Americans in California: as if to say, “No. We are not the JV team. We are smarter than all of you and we reject everything about you and your Godless American culture.”
“There is a lot about America that people all over the world hate,” a renown psychologist told Peace and Freedom.
“Part of this is ‘American Exceptionalism,’ that President Obama himself rejects,” my psychologist friend said.
“Donald Trump was on to something when he suggested we take a breather, hit the reset, and stop potential terrorists from coming through immigration — until we figure this thing out.”
“Ask Angela Merkel. After the sexual attacks on New Year’s Eve in Cologne, she is starting to sound more cautious and circumspect about refugees and asylum seekers.”
But the biggest issue is this: We Have To Carefully Identify The Problem before we can solve it.
The problem isn’t us. It’s them.
If President Obama can’t figure this out quickly he will become just another guy that didn’t get it.
And more people will die as he golfs himself toward heaven in Miami or Martha’s Vineyard or Maui.
The Number One job of the President of the United States, and all of the highly paid agencies of the United States government, from customs and border patrol, CIA, FBI and the rest, is to defend the American people. The oath says “support, defend and protect the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”
Whenever, wherever, anyplace on the globe, that an American is killed in this ideological war, we need to be honest with one another, as transparent as promised on the campaign trail, smart and responsive. If the hair of one diplomat in one lowly outpost is mussed at a dinner party, we need to respond.
Hillary Clinton doesn’t get this. Four of her “troops” were killed at Benghazi. It wasn’t about the video. It wasn’t about joining the terrorists in their insane thinking that maybe there was some justification for the brutal torture and murder of four representatives of the Government of the United States.
It was about deterring future attacks.
Barack and Hillary failed the test. Future attacks are happening now.
John Kerry made the tragic admission when talking about the Charlie Hebdo attacks. He blurted out that maybe the terrorists had some “justification.”
We are about rule of law. We “support, defend and protect.” We don’t weasel word and justify and cower.
We don’t listen to their jihad propaganda and recruiting videos and close Gitmo because they tell us it isn’t a good thing to keep it open. We do everything in our power to defeat them. Quickly.
We don’t trade several top Radical Islamist Terrorists leaders for one (possible) American GI-turned deserter.
And we don’t go into the Rose Garden and brag about it.
Because as President Obama has again proven and demonstrated to everyone on the globe: if we don’t take actions after our red lines are violated we have to give up on red lines.
Which is what the president seems to be doing.
Just allow the bad guys to have and use chemical weapons. Who needs red lines anyway. On my orders we killed Osama bin Laden.
So Israel, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, the Philippines, japan and others and arming up.
Why? Because maybe America has given up on being the America that had a clearly identifiable role on earth since General Pershing took troops to France in 1918.
It is about the U.S. government accepting responsibility that we didn’t do enough to safeguard the lives of Americans at an overseas outpost.
It is about the United States Government behaving in the best traditions of the United States of America. Honesty. Transparency. Military strength and efficiency. Power. The power of a “Superpower.”
Fairness, humanitarian relief and human rights.
Hillary and Barack Obama may just have failed to comprehend this. It is as if one bandido walked into a bar filled with Texas Rangers and, holding a pen knife, manages to make them all cower and disarm themselves.
My apologies to all Texas Rangers.
If we allow what we see every day to continue, we just may be seeing the opening act on the death of America and the rising of empires much more evil than our own.
That is why people are buying guns. That is why President Obama wants to further limit the Constitution he has sworn to “support, defend and protect.”
So he cried because he doesn’t have a plan of action to lead the American people toward his goal.
That’s what his executive order are about: undermining rule of law, the Constitution, the Congress.
What ever happened to “checks and balances?”
We are the crossroads of, “That’s not who we are” and “That’s now what we’ve become.”
People get this in Iowa and New Hampshire and just about everywhere but not inside the beltway.
Just de-fund the Pentagon, turn it into condos, and watch the world get safer and better.
We believe in human rights. China and Russia and Iran and the Islamic State do not. We believe in the rule of law. China and Russia and Iran and the Islamic State do not.
The next presidential election is about who we are. Are we going to allow another San Bernardino? Another Paris? More attacks like the ones we see in the news today, from Jakarta to Somalia to Mali?
Or are we just going to watch constant re-spinning of the narrative that is based on lies and isn’t working.
The narrative of Barack Obama’s own making.
