ALEPPO, SYRIA – Last night, the Russian Air Force carried out several airstrikes over Aleppo, landing a direct hit on a Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest) weapons depot in the Bustan Al-Qasr District. .
These Russian airstrikes last night paved the way for the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) new assault inside the Old Aleppo District.
Following the airstrikes, the Syrian Arab Army stormed the jihadist defenses at the Old Aleppo District, inflicting severe damage to Fatah Halab’s defenses.
Currently, the Syrian Armed Forces are attempting to advance in the Old Aleppo District, while their comrades in the south continue their push inside the 1070 Al-Hamdaniyah Housing Project.

That ceasefire has been at risk ever since US-led airstrikes struck a Syrian Army position over the weekend, killing 62 servicemen and injuring 100 more. US Central Command has admitted responsibility for the strike, claiming it mistook the Syrian forces for Daesh terrorists.
