The leader of Colombia’s FARC rebels said Monday they are prepared to “fix” a peace deal with the government, a day after it was narrowly rejected by voters in a referendum.

The shock result “fills us with more enthusiasm, makes us much more committed, because there are various ways to read it and we must analyze them to see what needs to be fixed,” said FARC chief Rodrigo Londono, better known as Timoleon “Timochenko” Jimenez, in a radio interview from Havana, where the four-year peace talks were held.
